IMPACT STATEMENT

I am a visual storyteller working through long-term, relationship-based documentary projects that examine how people navigate systems of work, care, and survival. My practice combines photography, audio interviews, and sustained observation across multiple visits, allowing stories to emerge with depth, accuracy, and trust. I prioritize context over spectacle, collaboration over extraction, and long-term responsibility to the individuals and communities I document. While my work has developed outside formal NGO commissions, it is grounded in the same principles required for effective humanitarian storytelling: ethical representation, systems awareness, and respect for lived experience. I am interested in collaborating with international NGOs and nonprofit organizations engaged in direct action—particularly those working in development, health, food systems, infrastructure, and humanitarian support—where visual storytelling can strengthen understanding, accountability, and impact.

METHOD STATEMENT

As an impact photographer and cinematographer, I am deeply committed to impactful photography that tells compelling visual stories. My mission is to celebrate the resilience and creativity within communities. With a diverse background in painting, art direction, and performing arts, I leverage this experience to enhance my visual narratives.

I focus on collaborating with non-profit organizations and media houses to create imagery that amplifies their missions and engages audiences on a profound level. My approach prioritizes context over spectacle, collaboration over extraction, and a long-term responsibility toward the individuals and communities I document.  In my work, I adhere to journalistic standards and ethical storytelling, ensuring that I portray subjects with integrity and respect. I actively engage in networking opportunities and strive to build partnerships that foster mutual growth and understanding within the creative and non-profit sectors. Through my lens, I invite viewers to explore the richness of human experience and the transformative power of visual storytelling as I work to create narratives that inspire change and foster connection.
